The program is aimed at improving the consistency and clarity of legal terminology and the texts of legal norms in the field of criminal law of the Republic of Kazakhstan through comprehensive scientific analysis, linguistic monitoring of the current criminal legislation, identifying and correcting discrepancies between the Kazakh and Russian texts, as well as developing unified legal terminology in the Kazakh language in the field of criminal law and legislation. By integrating best practices from Turkic countries (such as the Republic of Türkiye) in ensuring the authenticity of legal texts, and by creating an explanatory dictionary of legal terms in the field of criminal law of Kazakhstan, the program aims to ensure the accuracy and reliability of legal texts. This will contribute to strengthening the domestic legal framework, ensuring full accessibility and understanding of laws for all citizens of Kazakhstan, and achieving the goals of the country’s socio-economic development as outlined in national strategic documents.
